Good Morning, Lord! God of Glory! Psalm 8, 19

Psalm 8:1–9 (NLT): 1 O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens. 2 You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemiesand all who oppose you. 3 When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—the moon and the stars you set in place— 4 what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? 5 Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. 6 You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority— 7 the flocks and the herds and all the wild animals, 8 the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and everything that swims the ocean currents. 9 O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!

Psalm 19:1–6 (NLT): 1 The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. 2 Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. 3 They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. 4 Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world. God has made a home in the heavens for the sun. 5 It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race. 6 The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat.

My Morning Prayer: Good morning Lord! Thank you for beautiful morning, to begin a new day! Thank you for rest and the joy of waking to a cool, still, praise-filled morning! You are Great! You are Majestic! How blessed I am to experience, to witness your Grandeur, Majesty, Wisdom and Power. I am listening to many species of birds, chirping and singing to the Creator. I am observing a beautiful rising sun, a crane wading in the shallow water in front of me (Wow! It just plucked up a snake and swallowed it whole! Thank you Mr. Crane!). Mallards, Ducks and Geese are swimming, gliding through the water, with young in tow, fish jumping, breaking the water. Oh Lord, hour Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! The heavens with sun, moon, stars, clouds all declare your Glory! Shouting, You are Great, Mighty, Awesome, full of Wisdom, Knowledge, Truth. Your handiwork and glory are being shown in living color this morning. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Glory to your Mighty and Majestic Name!
